The Movement for Percussion series allows percussionists to practice moving between instruments quickly and quietly. Volume 2 picks up where Volume 1 ends and includes 40 additional etudes with greater complexity. Volume 2 is also divide into four sections. The first series has the percussionist moving between three instruments and adds dynamics to each etude. The second series adds a mallet instrument. The third section adds not only dynamics, but mixed meter while moving between three instruments. Then in section 4, mallets are added. All of the etudes are designed to be performed with a conductor.
Each etude has a suggested set up photo as well as performance techniques for many of the instruments used.
